Homemates

How Homemates works.

Support & how-to

Homemates, not lists

The house is organised by the people (and pets) in it. Each homemate keeps their own things; open a homemate to see what's on their shelf.

A thing keeps its own story

Every thing has an archive: when the current cycle began, how long past ones lasted, why they ended, and how many spares are at home.

Cycles are yours to set

A cycle is simply how often you like to refresh something — pick what fits your product's instructions and your routine. Nothing here is a health rule.

Already using something?

When you add a thing, set the real date you started using it. You can also add past records from the archive page, so your own rhythm shows up right away.

Refresh days

Group the things you tend to refresh together — bedding, the bathroom, the pet's corner. Completing a refresh day never forces anything: you pick what actually got replaced.

Spares and restocking

Tell Homemates how many spares you keep. When a refresh uses one, the count drops; below your threshold the thing appears under Restock. You can also add anything to Restock by hand.

Reminders

Reminders are per thing and off until you switch them on. Turn on Private notifications in Settings and the Lock Screen shows a count instead of names.

From the Home Screen

Add the widget to mark something refreshed without opening the app. Siri and Spotlight work too — try "what needs a look in Homemates".

Languages

Homemates is available in English, Español, 日本語, 한국어, Français, Deutsch and 简体中文. Change it any time in Settings → Language.
